An iconic South African chicken restaurant is makes his way to the Lone Star State.
Nando’s PERi-PERi announced on Wednesday June 8 that it will open two locations in Texas as part of a big market expansion planaccording to Houston Chronicle. These two locations mark the first Texas, the company said in a press release. The Houston restaurant pair will be located at Post Oak Plaza in Uptown and La Centerra in Katy and are expected to open in the spring of 2023.
“Our authentic flavors were born in South Africa but designed for Houston. We look forward to welcoming Nando newcomers and loyal followers who have long lobbied for us to come to Texas, to this growing city known for its incredible diversity and culinary scene,” John FisherCEO of Nando’s PERi-PERi USA, said in a Press release.
The 3,200 square foot Post Oak Plaza Restaurant (1751 Post Oak) will be Nando’s flagship location.
