Today, the fast food chain revealed it has added a new meal to its menu, describing it as the “best combo to come out of 2020”.
KFC Australia hailed him as the “best combo to come out of 2020” – and he seems to have the support of his loyal fans.
The fast food chain has announced that it will be adding “The Slab” to its menu, which consists of six chewy buns stuffed with popcorn chicken.
“This bad boy is not for the faint of heart,” a KFC spokesperson told news.com.au in a statement.
“The slab is an epic combination of fan-favorite chicken popcorn, delicious oozing cheese, and barbecue sauce, all loaded into fresh buns.”

It’s actually been around since October of last year, where the people of Ballarat were treated to an exclusive test of the article at nine KFC restaurants.
The news spread quickly and when some customers who weren’t in the testing area caught wind of the new article, a KFC spokesperson said they took to social media with desperate but compelling calls to take The Slab across the country.
And the Colonel answered their prayers with the fast food chain which opened its own Facebook page Tuesday morning to announce its temporary spot on their menu.
“No wonder the Colonel is still the greatest chef the world has ever seen,” one person wrote.
“OMG. If there was anything that was going to crack me up, this would be it,” another added, while a third person said they were “literally tearing up about it.”

The post attracted over 11,000 comments and nearly 400 shares.
“Oh come on KFC !! I already gained weight during confinement and now you’re doing this to me? The woman will have to get me out the door when the lock is finally released! one person joked.
“Why do you put this out when I’m on a diet?” Another asked, while a third person said The Slab “is worth breaking Keto (diet) for.”
“I might have to come out of retirement from KFC for this,” added another.
Although he received a lot of positive attention, some people still weren’t entirely convinced.
“I watch the video a few times and still don’t know how I feel about it,” one person wrote.
“Yuck! I call it a failure! another added, to which KFC Australia replied: “It’s not very pleasant. We think it’s cool.
Kristi Woolrych, CMO at KFC Australia, said she listened to fan requests by making the item available nationwide.
“We have no doubt that our fans will go crazy for this new creation. But get in fast because it won’t last forever, ”Ms. Woolrych said.
The slab will be available at KFC restaurants nationwide from Tuesday October 6 through Monday November 2.
It sells for $ 10.95 a la carte or can be purchased as a combo for 1 or 2.
