When reporters from the San Antonio Express-News analyzed Google data from Whataburger reviews, one thing was clear.

Gulfport, D’Iberville and Ocean Springs have three of the best Whataburger fast food restaurants in the country. Gulfport’s restaurant is located on Highway 49. You can find Ocean Springs’ Whataburger on Bienville Blvd. and D’Iberville on Sangani Blvd.

According to 2,726 reviews on Google, local restaurants each have a 4.3-star rating. This is unheard of for most of the San Antonio-based restaurant’s 906 locations. The San Antonio Express-News found only two other places with ratings as high as Gulfport: one in Tucson, Arizona and one in Jacksonville, Florida.

Gulfport’s drive-thru, shakes, and onion rings were rated the most in reviews. Destiny Thomas raves about their customer service.

Thomas “had a minor problem with my food in [the] driving, went inside to get it fixed and kitchen manager Justin Flake went above and beyond to get it fixed for me,” she wrote on Google. “They are so busy and working short of staff. GREAT customer service.

Malanda Davidson-Carter is a big fan of Whataburger’s breakfast menu. “They have the best cookies and sauces around. Always hot and delicious. I love the peppery kick in the sauce,” she wrote. “I like to dip my cookie and my hash browns. What a great way to start your day!”

The Ocean Springs location is Linda Morgan’s favorite place to stop when she’s in a hurry. “And like [you] know, everything is fresh,” she added.

The restaurant chain is a favorite, according to USA Today. For the fourth consecutive year, the newspaper ranked Whataburger among the top 10 regional fast food restaurants in the United States.

Chad Braaten, who visited the D’Iberville location would agree. He said it was “the best regional burger chain in the world! Extremely friendly service at the place we visited.

A panel of experts nominated Whataburger for the accolade, but it was by popular vote that Whataburger placed fourth on this year’s list. The restaurant is ranked higher than Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, Culver’s and In-N-Out Burger.
