Nashville-inspired hot chicken hits Perth.

This Saturday, January 9 at Mount Hawthorn, a Nashville-inspired hot chicken restaurant, Drasko’s will bring a cult American dish to Perth.

“There is something magical about turning a humble piece of chicken into an experience that brings tears of pleasure and pain in a bite,” says Jankovic.

“Inspired by my time in Nashville and Noma, I look forward to bringing this special kind of experience to Perth. “

Hot Nashville Chicken is the star of the menu. With five levels of southern heat (no heat) at Blame Drasko (extra hot), plus an off-menu triple hot ‘Bastard Chilli’, which uses one of the hottest peppers in the world grown in Carnarvon that you have to sign. a waiver to eat.

Other featured dishes include homemade pickles and fermented sauces, organic hand-cut fries, and hearty sides like Mama’s beans, a vegan version of Serbian pasulj. Drasko Hot Chicken Heroes are West Australia’s best producers, including free range chicken from the Swan Valley pastures, organic sourdough baked in a century-old oven in Maylands, and produce from local organic and biodynamic farmers.

Gluten eaters will rejoice in Hot Nashville Chicken with a GF version of Drasko’s Signature Sando Burger that comes with a gluten-free bun from local favorites Monsterella and uses their famous pizza dough made specifically for Drasko’s Hot Chicken.

Former My Kitchen Rules competitor Drasko was inspired to create hot Nashville chicken after he first tasted it addictively while working at Michelin-starred Noma in Copenhagen.

Drasko’s Hot Chicken is a fusion of fast-casual and fine dining techniques, making a “fast and fine” dining experience and Nashville’s hot chicken tradition accessible to everyone.

Drasko’s Hot Chicken officially opens Saturday, January 9 from 12 p.m. at Mezz, 148 Scarborough Beach Road in Mount Hawthorn. The restaurant is accessible only and BYO.
