The newest location for popular restaurant chain Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers opens in Visalia on Tuesday.
The restaurant is located at 3541 S. Mooney Blvd., on the northwest corner of Mooney Boulevard and Caldwell Avenue.
The restaurant has two drive-thru lanes and two kitchens to keep the lines moving quickly.
The grand opening will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday with a ribbon cutting and live music “to set the party mood throughout the day and night,” according to a press release.
But the chance to win free food starts earlier, at 7 a.m. Between that date and 8:00 p.m., people can enter his lucky 20 draw, which will reward 20 people aged 13 and over for free Raising Cane’s for one year.
The first 100 âCaniacsâ (what the company calls its fans) to purchase a combo meal will receive a free Raising Cane T-shirt.
What is a lifting rod? It’s a Baton Rouge-based restaurant with around 500 locations nationwide, with drive-thru services thriving during the coronavirus pandemic.
The restaurant specializes in just one type of food: chicken fingers.
You can get meals with two, three, four or six chicken fingers. All come with fries, Texas toast and coleslaw. Or, you can get three chicken fingers as a sandwich.
Raising Cane is the name of the founder’s dog – a friendly yellow lab featured in the restaurant’s marketing.
The Visalia site will employ 170 people.
It will be open late, 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday to Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Thursday to Saturday.
Locations in Fresno, Clovis, Tulare, Hanford
Raising Cane’s is building 10 new restaurants in central and northern California. The first opened in Hanford last month.
Fresno also gets at least two restaurants.
One will be built north of Blackstone Avenue, on the site of the old Logan’s Roadhouse, which was demolished.
Another is slated to open in southeast Fresno, with a Dutch Bros Coffee, in the Kings Canyon Pavilion Mall at East Kings Canyon Road and South Willow Avenue.
Construction is underway to transform the old Pier 1 on Shaw Avenue in Clovis into a Raising Cane’s.
Another location is headed to Tulare at 1579 E. Prosperity Ave.
