PRNewswire has posted this in recent days: Plant Power Fast Food of California just completed its Series A capital of $ 7.5 million. With a name that suggests the revolution, Plant Power Fast Food is called the home of “100% Plant-Based Burgers, Fries and Shakes”. They currently have seven active sites across California, and an eighth is underway at the University of California, San Diego.

This is an exciting development in the herbal movement, as Plant Power Fast Food offers a truly indulgent menu. Along with their salads containing superfood ingredients (which seem tantalizing in their own ritual), the chain has an extensive menu of hamburgers inspired by fast food classics (the two-tiered “Big Zac” topped with sesame seeds, name of co-founder Zach Vouga, is a clear plant game on the Big Mac at McDonald’s). They also offer vegan chicken selections, all-natural fries (“Just potatoes, oil and salt,” their site says), dairy-free “shakes” and novelty items such as a kombucha float.
