Vancouver-based fast food chain Hi Five Chicken has signed its first two franchise agreements and more are expected in the coming weeks.

Fast food chain Hi Five Chicken has signed two franchise agreements with five other franchisees expected to sign in the coming weeks.

The Vancouver-based company was founded in 2016 and currently has four corporate stores. While the exact locations have yet to be publicly announced, construction is expected to begin this year.

Hi Five Chicken’s management team, consisting of Milind Palashetkar, Suraj Sharma and Mono Moitra, believe that the primary focus of the business will remain the same whether it is a corporate restaurant or ‘a franchise.

“We are delighted to deploy this wonderful brand for the very first time to franchisees who share the same vision as us,” said Mono Moitra, brand president. “We started with a location in Vancouver in 2016, and it was thanks to our loyal customers and our highly motivated service team that we were able to open three more corporate locations. We want to share this brand with franchisees who have the same vision and the same appetite for serving great chicken. “
